Aplikasi Aqua Card Scanner berfungsi untuk scan barcode Kartu Pembudidaya yang terdaftar di Direktorat Jenderal Perikanan Budidaya Kementerian Keluatan dan Perikanan.

Sistem Aquacard adalah sistem informasi yang dibangun dengan tujuan untuk memfasilitasi keanggotaan masyarakat dalam pembangunan perikanan budidaya. Sistem akan memuat keanggotaan masyarakat dan database pembudidaya. Database tersebut akan terhubung langsung dengan keanggotaan pembudidaya dan membaca keanggotaan masyarakat yang telah memiliki kartu pembudidaya.
