Iedereen is uniek, niemand volmaakt, maar samen zijn we compleet.
Tabitha is één van de 19 basisscholen van de Stichting Meer Primair en gehuisvest in een modern schoolgebouw in Toolenburg-Oost. De naam Tabitha geldt, als persoon uit het verhaal van Aeneas en Dorcas, als symbool voor onze school. Een persoon die zorg en aandacht besteedt aan haar medemens, in het bijzonder de kinderen. In de onmiddelijke omgeving van de school bevinden zich twee andere basisscholen, een peuterspeelzaal en naschoolse opvang.
Basisschool Tabitha is gehuisvest in een modern schoolgebouw in Toolenburg-Oost.
De afgelopen jaren is het gebouw verder aangepast aan de eisen van de huidige tijd. Er zijn ICT voorzieningen aangebracht en in alle groepen 1 t/m 8 wordt gewerkt met een digitaal schoolbord. Vanaf schooljaar 2012 is een start gemaakt met het gefaseerd plaatsen van kleuter digiborden.
De school kent een grote ouderbetrokkenheid en ouderparticipatie is een belangrijke pijler van de kracht van Tabitha.
Tabitha is een Christelijke school, dit betekent dat we de kinderen een Christelijke levensbeschouwing mee willen geven en dat de waarden en normen die daaruit voortvloeien verankerd zijn in ons lesgeven en respect voor ons daarbij het uitgangspunt is. We willen een sfeer creëren waarbij ieder kind, maar ook elke volwassene zich veilig voelt. Samen bouwen aan een prettige en liefdevolle omgeving en een open school zijn voor iedereen. Dat betekent dat iedereen bij ons welkom is. Elk kind is immers uniek met al zijn mogelijkheden en beperkingen.
Op Tabitha wordt de tussentijdse kinderopvang in de middagpauze door ouders van de school geregeld. De voor- en naschoolse opvang is in handen van bekende organisaties als Happy Kids en SmallSteps.

Waar zoveel mogelijk rekening wordt gehouden met verschillen in mogelijkheden, aanleg en belangstelling van kinderen.
Die een zelfstandige werk- en leerhouding van ieder kind stimuleert en verder ontwikkelt.

Wij zijn aangesloten bij de stichting Meer Primair, samen met 18 andere basisscholen in de Haarlemmermeer. Everyone is unique, nobody perfect, but together we are complete.
Tabitha is one of the 19 primary schools of the Foundation More Primary and housed in a modern school in Toolenburg East. The school has a great parent involvement and parent participation is an important pillar of the power of Tabitha.
Tabitha is a Christian school, it means that we want to give a Christian worldview with the children and that the values and standards arising therefrom anchored in our teaching and respect for us here is the starting point. We want to create an atmosphere where every child, but also every adult to feel safe. Working together to build a happy and loving environment and open a school for everyone. That means that everyone is welcome. Each child is unique with all its possibilities and limitations.
Tabitha interim childcare in the lunch break is controlled by parents of the school. The before and after school is owned by well-known organizations like Happy Kids and Small Steps.
