פטיש הינו מושב חקלאי מעורב, ליד אופקים, בשטח המועצה האזורית מרחבים. המושב הוקם בשנת 1950, בתחילה בידי עולים שהגיעו ממצרים שנטשו את המקום כעבור חודש בלבד. הסוכנות היהודית חיפשה קבוצה שתוכל להתיישב במקום ושתנאי הנגב הקשוחים יתאימו לה וכך הגיעה למקום קבוצת עולים נחושים מכורדיסטן. המושב נקרא על שם חורבת פטיש - מצודה ויישוב עתיק הנמצאים בסמוך אליו (מוזכר לראשונה בשם 'פוטיס' במפת מידבא, המפה הקדומה ביותר של ארץ ישראל). שטח המושב הוא כ-4000 דונם, ועד היום הוא שומר על אופיו החקלאי. במושב מתגוררות כ160- משפחות ויש כ106- משקים חקלאיים. אופיו של המושב הוא פלורליסטי, ומתאים גם למשפחות חילוניות וגם למשפחות מסורתיות ודתיות. Hammer is a mixed agricultural moshav near Ofakim, in the western regions. The seat was established in 1950, initially by immigrants who came from Egypt abandoned the place after just one month. The Jewish Agency was looking for a group able to settle in the Negev and the tough conditions and would suit her group arrived immigrants determined to Kurdistan. The seat was named Horvat hammer - a fortress and an ancient settlement located nearby (the first mention of the name "Fotis' Madaba Map, the most ancient map of the Land of Israel). Seat area is 4,000 hectares, and today it retains its agricultural character. 160 families live session and 106 farms. The nature of the seat is pluralistic and secular suitable for families as well as traditional and religious families.
