مسيرته في الإمامة: صلى القارئ في عدة مساجد بمدينة جدة ومنها مسجد الراجحي و مسجد سعيد بن جبير بحي الكندرة و مسجد عبد اللطيف جميل و مسجد التقوى بحي الروضة و مسجد الشعيبي بحي السلامة وهو الآن إمام جامع الفرقان بحي النسيم بجدة.
لديه إجازة للقرآن الكريم برواية حفص عن عاصم على يد الشيخ أيمن رشدي سويد في عام 1416 هـ, ولديه شهادة ماجستير محاسبة وكانت في عام 1420 هـ .
