كتاب الكبائر هو كتاب ألفه الإمام محمد بن عثمان الذهبي، يشمل عدد من الكبائر والمعاصي التي يجب على المسلم أن يتجنبها، وقام بطبعه أول مره الشيخ محمد عبد الرزاق حمزة في عام 1955هـ، معتمدا على ثلاث مخطوطات. وقد جمع فيه 70 كبيرة لينبه القلوب الغافلة والنفوس البالية ليذكر بالعواقب الوخيمة المترتبة على تلك الكبائر.
الْكَبَائِر
مَا نهى الله وَرَسُوله عَنهُ فِي الْكتاب وَالسّنة والأثر عَن السلف الصَّالِحين وَقد ضمن الله تَعَالَى فِي كِتَابه الْعَزِيز لمن اجْتنب الْكَبَائِر والمحرمات أَن يكفر عَنهُ الصَّغَائِر من السَّيِّئَات لقَوْله تَعَالَى {إِن تجتنبوا كَبَائِر مَا تنهون عَنهُ نكفر عَنْكُم سَيِّئَاتكُمْ وَنُدْخِلكُمْ مدخلاً كَرِيمًا} فقد تكفل الله تَعَالَى بِهَذَا النَّص لمن اجْتنب الْكَبَائِر أَن يدْخلهُ الْجنَّة وَقَالَ تَعَالَى {وَالَّذين يجتنبون كَبَائِر الْإِثْم وَالْفَوَاحِش وَإِذا مَا غضبوا هم يغفرون} وَقَالَ تَعَالَى {الَّذين يجتنبون كَبَائِر الْإِثْم وَالْفَوَاحِش إِلَّا اللمم إِن رَبك وَاسع الْمَغْفِرَة}
وَقَالَ رَسُول الله صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم الصَّلَوَات الْخمس () وَالْجُمُعَة إِلَى الْجُمُعَة ورمضان إِلَى رَمَضَان مكفرات () لما بَينهُنَّ إِذا اجْتنبت الْكَبَائِر فَتعين علينا الفحص عَن الْكَبَائِر مَا هِيَ لكَي يجتنبها الْمُسلمُونَ () فَوَجَدنَا الْعلمَاء رَحِمهم الله تَعَالَى قد اخْتلفُوا فِيهَا فَقيل هِيَ سبع وَاحْتَجُّوا بقول النَّبِي صلى الله تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ وعَلى آله وَسلم اجتنبوا السَّبع الموبقات فَذكر مِنْهَا الشرك بِاللَّه وَالسحر وَقتل النَّفس الَّتِي حرم الله إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَأكل مَال الْيَتِيم وَأكل الرِّبَا والتولي يَوْم الزَّحْف وَقذف الْمُحْصنَات الْغَافِلَات الْمُؤْمِنَات مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ () وَقَالَ ابْن عَبَّاس رَضِي الله عَنْهُمَا هِيَ إِلَى السّبْعين أقرب مِنْهَا إِلَى السَّبع وَصدق وَالله ابْن عَبَّاس () وَأما الحَدِيث فَمَا فِيهِ حصر الْكَبَائِر وَالَّذِي يتَّجه وَيقوم عَلَيْهِ الدَّلِيل أَن من ارْتكب شَيْئا من هَذِه العظائم مِمَّا فِيهِ حد فِي الدُّنْيَا كَالْقَتْلِ وَالزِّنَا وَالسَّرِقَة أَو جَاءَ فِيهِ وَعِيد فِي الْآخِرَة من عَذَاب أَو غضب أَو تهديد أَو لعن فَاعله على لِسَان نَبينَا مُحَمَّد صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم فَإِنَّهُ كَبِيرَة () وَلَا بُد من تَسْلِيم أَن بعض الْكَبَائِر أكبر من بعض أَلا ترى أَنه صلى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسلم عد الشرك بِاللَّه من الْكَبَائِر مَعَ أَن مرتكبه مخلد فِي النَّار وَلَا يغْفر لَهُ أبداً قَالَ الله تَعَالَى {إِن الله لَا يغْفر أَن يُشْرك بِهِ وَيغْفر مَا دون ذَلِك لمن يَشَاء}
