جرثومة المعدة جرثومة المعدة أو ما يُعرف بالجرثومة الملويّة البوابيّة، أو الجرثومة الحلزونيّة (بالإنجليزيّة: Helicobacter pylori)، هي عبارة عن جرثومة حلزونيّة الشّكل غَزويّة تتسلّل إلى داخل المعدة، وتستقرّ في الخلايا الظهاريّة في غشاء المعدة المخاطيّ، مع مرور الزّمن تسبّب هذه الجرثومة إلى التهاب وتدمير الخلايا التي تتواجد في بطانة المعدة أو الأجزاء العُليا من الأمعاء الدّقيقة، وفي بعض الحالات يُمكن أن تُسبّب سرطاناً في المعدة. هذه الجرثومة شائعة جدّاً ومُنتشرة؛ حيث إنّ نسبة الإصابة بها عالميّاً تصل إلى 50% تقريباً
