يحيى بن شرف بن مري بن حسن الحزامي الحوراني النووي الدمشقي الشافعي، محيي الدين، أبو زكريا، علامة بالفقه والحديث، صاحب التصانيف الكثيرة في الفقه والحديث، ولد في نوى من قرى حوران بسورية سنة (631هـ)، وتوفي في نوى أيضًا في 14 رجب سنة (676هـ) ودفن بها.
