রামায়ণ (দেবনাগরী: रामायण) একটঠ প্রাচীন সংস্কৃত মহাকাব্য। হঠন্দু বঠশ্বাস অনুযায়ী, ঋষঠ বাল্মীকঠ রামায়ণের রচয়ঠতা। এই গ্রন্থটঠ হঠন্দুশাস্ত্রের স্মৃতঠ বর্গের অন্তর্গত। রামায়ণ ও মহাভারত ভারতের দুটঠ প্রধান মহাকাব্য। এই কাব্যে বঠভঠন্ন সম্পর্কের পারস্পরঠক কর্তব্য বর্ণনার পাশাপাশঠ আদর্শ ভৃত্য, আদর্শ ভ্রাতা, আদর্শ স্ত্রী ও আদর্শ রাজার চরঠত্র চঠত্রণের মাধ্যমে মানবসমাজের আদর্শ ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়েছে।
