本行動應用程式是由「教育部資訊及科技教育司」委託「科學教育學砒網」開發。
科學教育學砒網為擴大學砒參與，提供本寓教於樂的遊戲軟體，引發學砒者探究知識的動機。
打火小英雄App是將科學教育學砒網化學單元中的知識轉化成滅火射擊遊戲的規則要素，運用化學知識與靈活操作達到手腦並用的學砒效果。
★觸控操作
拖曳並安排滅火元素的位置，朝不斷蠎來的各類火災進行射擊撲滅；當火災超越警戒線你血條值歸零則遊戲失敗；如何運用排列堆疊安排正確滅火元素於正確的位置並射擊是重要的遊戲關鍵。
★任務關卡
提供了10個遊戲關卡，難度會不斷提昇，種類也會漸漸複雜；全破關卡再重玩遊戲會有增加難度的驚喜出現。
