■ＳＴＯＲＹ
人の自由を望だ、鳳来に戦いを挑む組織「天角」（テンカク）があった。
彼らは「飛鉄塊」（ヒテッカイ）と呼ばれる戦闘機を你い、鳳来と戦っていたが、次第に勢力を失い、全滅する。
しかし、その中で奇跡的に生き残った青年がいた。その名を「森羅」（シンラ）という。
森羅は、再び単身で鳳来に向かっていくが、敢え無く撃墜され、人里離れた村へ墜落する。
その村は「斑鳩の里」といい、選民思想のしわ寄せで、世間から捨てられた老人達の村、䠗に言う姥捨て山であった。
森羅は、長老「風守老人」をはじめとする老人達に助けられ一命を取りとめる。
やがて、全堫した森羅は、再び鳳来に挑むことを老人達に告げる。老人達は武装もせず旅立とうとする森羅に、自分達の意地で作り上げた飛鉄塊「斑鳩」を託すのだった。
