あらすじ
フェザーン自治領を掌中に収めた帝国軍は、自由惑星同盟の首都ハイネセンの目前まで蠫っていた。ヤンは躊躇することなくイゼルローン要塞の放棄を決断、民間人を䠝護しつつ首都へ向かう。同盟が勝利するための唯一の方策、即ちラインハルトを直接戦場で打ち取るために。数に於いて圧倒的優勢を誇る帝国軍に対して、ヤンは力量の差をだせつけるように奇策を用いて帝国の知将たちを破っていく。そしてヤンの思惑を見抜いたラインハルトはあえて正面決戦を選んだ。
