안녕하십니까? 이번에 한국복음서원은 주님의 회복의 역사와 그 안에 담긴 계시를 다룬 역사와 계시(上) 어플리케이션을 출시하게 되었습니다.
역사와 계시(상) 영상은 위트니스 리 형제님께서 1981년 11월에 홍콩과 타이베이에서 아시아에 있는 교회들의 봉사자 훈련 집회를 인도하셨을 때 주셨던 메시지들을 모은 것입니다. 상편은 제1장부터 제14장까지이며, 홍콩에서 전한 것이고, 하편은 제15장부터 제28장까지이며 타이베이에서 전하신 것입니다.

위트니스 리 형제님은 역사와 계시에 대해 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다.
“우리는 여기서 지나간 이야기를 하거나 옛날이야기를 하려는 것이 아니라 역사적 사실을 말하고자 한다. 우리의 부담은 역사를 통하여 계시의 소중함을 보고 우리의 계시를 인식하는 것이다. 또한 우리는 이러한 계시가 역사적 사실을 통해 어떻게 한 단계 한 단계 확증되었는지 보고자 한다. 이것은 참으로 가치 있는 일이다.”

역사와 계시(상) 영상들은 사도 시대 이후, 하나님께서 교회 역사 가운데 어떻게 그분의 잃어버렸던 주옥같은 진리들을 하나씩 회복하셨는지, 1921년부터 하나님께서 처녀지인 중국 대륙에서 어떻게 워치만 니 형제님을 얻으셨는지, 그의 동역자인 위트니스 리 형제님을 통해 대만으로의 이주, 대만에서의 부흥, 그 후 동남아시아, 동아시아 여러 나라로 회복이 어떻게 확산되었으며, 또한 미주, 남미 등 여러 대륙에서 금등잔대의 증거가 일으켜진 생생한 이야기와 발자취를 생생하게 보여주고 있습니다. 또한 이 영상물은 회복의 역사에서 하나님께서 보여주신 풍성한 진리들, 또 그 진리들을 보존하는 과정들을 들려주며, 지난 60년 회복의 역사에서 대적이 일으킨 많은 소요들을 통해 배운 진귀한 교훈과 보배로운 공과들은 참으로 억만의 금으로 살 수 없는 교훈입니다.
회복이란 원래 가지고 있었다가 잃어버린 것을 다시 되찾는다는 뜻입니다. 마르틴 루터는 종교개혁을 일으킨 사람입니다. 그가 없었다면 믠음으로 의롭게 된 진리나 구원받은 사람이 하나님을 섬기는 제사장이라는 진리는 회복될 길이 없었을 것입니다. 루터의 때와 같이 하나 하나의 진리가 회복되는 데에는 많은 대가가 요구됩니다. 이와 같이 주의 회복 안에서 많은 선진들은 피의 대가를 지불하여 주님의 회복의 길을 걸어 왔습니다. 초기 교회 역사에서의 선진들만 아니다. 지난 60년 회복의 역사에서 하나님께서 보여주신 계시들은 너무나 값진 것들입니다. 이러한 회복의 역사에 대해 알고자 하는 분들, 혹은 이 길에 오래 있어왔지만 회복이 무엇인지 알고자 하는 분들, 또는 회복의 길을 가려고 준비하고 있는 이 시대의 젊은이들에게 이 영상들은 주님을 섬기는 이들에게 살아 있는 역사서와 회복의 길을 가고자 하는 이들에게 유익한 지침이 될 것이라고 믠습니다.
