서기 2116년 미래 사회는 3차 대전으로 인해 영토의 1/3이 파괴되었으며 이 전쟁으로 인해 각국가 간 소규모 전쟁이 수십 년에 걸쳐 지속되어 왔다. 그러던 어느 날 외계인의 침공이 시작 되었으며 지구를 방어하기 위해 모든 국가가 힘을 합쳐 연합군을 구축했다. 그리고 연합군은 총 2차례의 걸친 외계 침공을 막아내는데 성공을 했으나 이로 인해 수천만의 전사자가 발생하여 군인의 수가 부족하게 되었고 수 만대의 우주함선에 승조 할 군인을 확보하기 위해 명예롭게 군생활을 마친 이들에게만 참정권과 시민권을 부여하였다. 대다수의 서민들은 이를 위해 군대에 자원하였고 어느덧 수 만대의 우주함선과 군인들이 확보되었다. 연합군 사령관은 더 이상 방어에만 치중하지 않고 먼저 외계인을 공격하여 무찌르는 것이 최상의 전략이라 판단하여 외계인이 본거지인 Klopdatuu를 파괴하기 위해 모든 함선을 총 동원했다.
