1992년에 설립된 '해바라기 유치원'은 사단 법인 전박사 몬테소리 연구소 창원지역의 유아 교육을 위해 연구 노력하는 유치원입니다.
해바라기 유치원은 21c 개별화 교육의 요구를 실현시키는 곳으로 아이들의 창의 교육, 인성교육, 자기 주도적인 교육을 바탕으로 아이들의 개개인의 요구가 충족 되어 매일이 행복한 공간입니다.
어른들의 만족을 위한 곳이기 보다는 3~5세 아이들의 말할 수 없는 내면의 요구가 자발적인 행동으로 나타나도록 자유와 선택을 허락하는 곳으로 어린이들 각자의 발달과정에 따라 교육 프로그램이 제공되어지는 곳입니다.
