Blending modern neuroscience with the wisdom of psychology, Trip takes you on a guided journey to make the most of your trips and expand your world.
A trip is any experience that helps expand your mind from its everyday way of thinking, allowing you to connect more deeply to your internal world and emotions. That may include plant medicine (cacao, ayahuasca, mushrooms, marijuana) psychedelics (MDMA, ketamine, LSD), meditation, or breathwork.
The Trip app serves as a trip guide to help you prepare for, deepen, and integrate these consciousness-expanding experiences and self-discoveries through intention setting, personalized music, expert-written meditations and content, mental wellness tracking, and guided journaling.
Intention Setting:
Setting an intention is a necessity to grow from expanded states of consciousness. Entering consciousness-expanding states can be disorienting, and having an intention helps us remain mindful of our goal throughout the chaos. Whether you are seeking to grow, heal, discover, process, transform, find a spiritual connection, improve your mental health, ease your mind, or connect with nature, setting this intention to prepare for tripping is what will guide you through a meaningful consciousness/psychedelic journey.
Personalized music:
Music can have a significant effect on consciousness-expanding experiences. We provide playlists on the Trip app that are recommended based on your intention. We partner with well-known psychedelic music and meditation music artists who put you in a headspace where you can lean into your intention and flow through your expanding awareness.
Meditations:
Our guided meditations help you achieve mindfulness before, during, and after your trip. We offer free meditations from many well-trained trip guides like Tara Brach and some psychedelic integration therapists from Field Trip Health Inc. Before and after a trip, you may access meditations by category (prepare, deepen, soothe, integrate, breathe, music, imagine, and daily practice). You may choose to practice some of the grounding breathwork techniques or cultivate creativity through our imagination meditations. During a trip, we offer the opportunity to choose from our meditations based on your progress in your journey. We have guided meditations curated for the process of easing in, deepening, and soothing your mind.

We share wisdom about consciousness expansion and psychedelic integration through our articles available in the Trip app. Learn about psychedelic harm reduction and safety, psychedelic trends, preparation for consciousness-expanding experiences, tripping, and much more. These articles can serve as a tripping guide.
Process Tracking:
Trip invites users to track their journey on the insights tab. The insights tab keeps your mind free of the organizational burden of psychedelic integration. In psychedelic integration, it is important to remember the kind of trip you are taking, what came up for you during the journey, your mood before and after the trip, and how your internal narrative has changed over time. The insights tab solidifies all of this information to access for guidance on your consciousness-expanding journey.
Guided journaling:
Our app, Trip, provides guided journaling, unlike any other app. Our journaling feature invites users to reflect on experiences that are specific to the journey of a psychonaut. Our prompts are artfully crafted from the wisdom of psychedelic guides. They give space to reflect on emotions, insights, and visions that came up during a trip. Journaling in the trip app after a consciousness-expanding experience can help you solidify the wisdom you have gained through the experience and integrate that knowledge into your daily practice.
