2016 Türkiye askerî darbe girişimi 15-16 Temmuz 2016 tarihleri arasında Türk Silahlı Kuvvetleri bünyesinde kendilerini Yurtta Sulh Konseyi olarak tanımlayan bir grup cuntacı asker tarafından gerçekleştirilen askerî darbe teşebbüsü.
İstanbul'daki Boğaziçi ve Fatih Sultan Mehmet Köprüsü'nün jandarma tarafından kapatılması ile başlayan süreçte, Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi Başkanı İsmail Kahraman ve yaklaşık 50 kadar milletvekilinin mecliste bulunduğu sırada F-16 savaş uçakları meclis üzerinde uçuş yaparak parlamentoyu dört kez bombaladı. Ankara'nın Beştepe semtinde bulunan Cumhurbaşkanlığı Sarayı'na bombalama girişiminde bulunulsa da başarılı olunamadı, Muğla'nın Marmaris ilçesinde bir otelde bulunan Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'a karşı suikast girişiminde bulunuldu. Genelkurmay Başkanı Hulusi Akar, Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanı Salih Zeki Çolak, Hava Kuvvetleri Komutanı Abidin Ünal ve Jandarma Genel Komutanı Galip Mendi darbeyi gerçekleştiren askerler tarafından rehin alındı.
Darbe girişimi, Türkiye siyasi tarihinde 12 Eylül 1980 askerî darbesinden 36 yıl sonra gerçekleştirilen ilk askerî darbe teşebbüsü olarak kayıtlara geçti.
