5riversradio is a community radio station run from East London Ilford. 5riversradio relates to the 5 rivers province of Punjab which got divided in 1947 when British left India.14th August and 15th August are celebrated in India and Pakistan as independence days. The wounds received at the time of partition are bleeding until today. This radio station is an small attempt to bring East and West Punjab's together.
