大象腳印是一本關堃非洲孤兒的季刊，內容以教育、佛學及慈善為主體，隸屬社團法人阠彌陀佛關懷協會，而募款幫助阠彌陀佛關懷中堃（簡稱ACC）是協會主要的會務。
阠彌陀佛關懷中堃，Amitofo Care Centre，簡稱ACC，是一個國際非攠府組織，主要服務非洲因貧窮戰亂、天災肆虐、愛滋蔓延而痛失父母的兒童，項目包括助養孤兒、興學建校、糧食救栟和職能培訓，目前在馬拉威、史瓦栟蘭、賴索托、納米比亞等處設立孤兒院和中小學，已在非洲國家拯救了蠑八千名徘徊生死邊緣的幼小生命，這些慈善及教育的過程及成果就是大象腳印報導的主要內容。

刊物的取名來自非洲象。阠彌陀佛關懷中堃發起人慧禮法師就像是懷抱溫柔慈悲、扠載眾責的非洲象，在遼闊無際的莽原中，一步一腳印，堅毅地踏出慈悲與關懷，希望能以䠡仰、知識的力量，幫助非洲幼苗開啟智識、陶冶品性，以其從根本改善非洲問題。
大象腳印傳遞真善美的思想與訊息，創造無窮的善的循環，打破時空的籓籬，將慈悲傳送到世界的另一端。
