Advanced SMS is in BETA development. It is completely free for testing purposes at this stage. Please notify the developer of any bugs found or features that should be added.
Advanced SMS is designed to replace the stock SMS or Messaging app.
It is still in development but contains basic and some more advanced features.
The look and feel of the app is customisable by changing the colour screen.
Custom notification tones, LED colour (for phones with notification LEDs) and vibrate patterns can be used and I will be adding in at a later stage the abillity to have custom tones and patterns for individual contacts. Any feedback is welcome!
How to install Advanced SMS APK for Android [menu]
Download Advanced SMS APK file (com.joshwebsites.advancedsms_2_234350.apk) from SameAPK.com, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.joshwebsites.advancedsms_2_234350.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Download Advanced SMS APK file(com.joshwebsites.advancedsms_2_234350.apk) from SameAPK.com to your PC (ex: /Users/xxx/Downloads/(com.joshwebsites.advancedsms_2_234350.apk)), then follow these steps:
Using Emulator:
- Download And Install one Emulator Softwares (Ex: Bluestacks, GenyMotion, NoxPlayer)
- Simple install APK on PC by drag and drop file com.joshwebsites.advancedsms_2_234350.apk on Emulator screen
