This app displays the important artworks created by American artists in the 19th century. It includes works from mid 1820s to just before 1910.
It starts with the Hudson River school to American Post Impressionists.
This app does not include famous portrait painters of the late 18th century to very early 19th century
The more known artists included Bingham, Church, Eakings, Homer, Sargeant and Whistler..
You can view great artworks 3 ways
Sequentially, Randomly or Select from a list.
Work date and title only shown on demand so you can use app as study guide to works of American artists from 1820 to 1900.
