LightPlay - Geo Messenger
Customize your world. Send, receive, and discover geolocated messages with people. Live life in a new light.
How It Works:
SEND MESSAGES
• Choose what location you want to send a message to - It doesn’t have to be your current location. You can geo message to anyplace in the world.
• Select your content type - Choose from many different types of messages: Texts, pictures, videos, audio recordings, weblinks, or augmented reality (AR).
• Control who is able to see the message - Make your message public for anyone to see, for your followers only, or privately just for your tagged friends including yourself. *messages only appear on a user’s geo map if message is shared with them
• Add another layer of privacy to messages with geofences - These are like invisible fences around messages that users must be within to open. You are able to scale how big the geofence is with a range of 10 - 100 ft.
• Set a time duration - Set how long your message can be seen - by minutes, hours or up to 30 days.
• Map Icon - Set what icon your message displays on the map! Options are: generic content type, thumbnail of your profile photo or thumbnail of the message content. Make your message stand out on the map!
RECEIVE MESSAGES
• You can see received messages on the notifications screen. This is where messages sent to you from the public, your followers, or private tags will be.
• All available messages will appear on your map. The map is like your inbox.
DISCOVER MESSAGES
• Search by location or user.
• Browse the map for messages.
• Hit the ‘random’ button to be taken to random locations with messages.
• Explore the world!
INTERACT WITH MESSAGES
• Open messages and access the content.
• Leave comments.
• Like and share.
• You can turn location tracking on/off.
