Hans Holbein the Younger was a german artist who lived between 1497 and 1543, he was an artist and a printmaker who worked in the Northern Renaissance style. He is one of the greatest portraitists of the 16th century and produced many religious art, sitre and Reformation propaganda. He is called the Yonger to distingish him from his father Hans Holbein the Elder who was a painter of the late Gothic school.
