La aplicación AURI-UCR está diseñada para usuarios administrativos y estudiantes de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), con el objetivo de asistirlos a la hora de configurar sus credenciales para tener acceso a Internet mediante las redes inalámbricas AURI y eduroam.
El software genera las configuraciones necesarias para que el usuario ingrese inmediatamente a estas redes inalámbricas y al mismo tiempo permite conectarse con la red interinstitucional 'eduroam' la cual facilita la conexión a Internet en otras instituciones universitarias donde también hay presencia de esta red.
Esta herramienta funciona al configurar las credenciales de usuario y contraseña que la UCR le facilita en el área de Atención y Gestión de Usuarios del Centro de Informática.
