This app is designed for people that do not want their device to utilize the SYNC function over their mobile data without actually crippling their phone with switching off Data and disabling things that they will forget.
It also allows for using the extra data that some operators makes available between 12:00am and 05:00am (Night Owl data).
This app is designed to enable and disable the SYNC function on your phone based on the following conditions:
*Enable => Phone is connected to a WiFi network
*Disable => Phone disconnects from a WiFi network and the time is between 04:50am and 00:10am
*Enable => Time is between 00:10am and 04:50am; SYNC & Mobile Data is enabled to make use of the Night Owl data
This app reads the time from the device itself and will not function correctly if the time is not set properly.
The app does not determine if it is possible to reach the internet over Mobile Data or WiFi, it only activates the SYNC function.
This app does not have a user’s interface to change the settings as it is the free version.
By manually pressing the App icon SYNC will be disabled.
