The app features text about each stage, and gives you insight into your child's development. This will give you a better understanding in the way your baby is acting at certain times.
As the result of extensive research in the science of infant psychical and neural systems development through the child's first year, this app will stimulate your child according to its age and stage in development.
The research is based on Piaget's Stages of Cognitive Development, specifically the Sensorimotor Stage of Cognitive Development, but alot of other research has been taken into account when stimulating infants and babies; Cognitive and Perceptional development, Sensory and Oculomotor Development, Object Permanence, visual acuity, ventral and dorsal stream neural systems, Binocular Vision etc. etc.
The app gradually introduces colors, movement, sound and interaction accordingly to the specific stage in development.
ALWAYS REMEMBER: Stimulating your child with this app should never replace interaction with the real world or real humans. The use of electronics to stimulate your child should only be used as a SUPPLEMENT to real life activities.
