Basisschool de Fonkelsteen is een kleine school in Zaltbommel met een persoonlijke aanpak.
De Fonkelsteen is een basisschool aan de rand van woonwijk “De Waluwe” in Zaltbommel waar leerlingen leren door zelf te ontdekken en samen te ondernemen.
Een typische Fonkelsteen leerling ontwikkelt een goed zelfbeeld, toont eigen initiatief en is ondernemend ingesteld. De Fonkelsteen staat voor een brede ontwikkeling en een rijke leeromgeving.
Leren op de Fonkelsteen is gebaseerd op het principe van ErvaringsGericht onderwijs.
Het onderwijs wordt in samenhang aangeboden. Kinderen werken aan een thema voor een periode van ca. 6 weken. De thema’s worden met elkaar ingevuld en staan in verbinding met de directe omgeving en de maatschappij. Sparkle Stone Elementary is a small school in Zaltbommel with a personal touch.
