Here in this app, we present the original Sanskrit Verses along with Tamil Transliteration, Tamil Translation, English Transliteration and English Translation. We will add more languages one by one in future updates.
The Bhagavad-Gita is one of the most ancient religious scriptures of the world. The discourse was delivered originally in Sanskrit. The antiquity of the Bhagavad-Gita is hidden in tradition, ancient scriptures, myths and legends. Its history, content and personality are intimately connected to the life of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, who played a crucial role in the war of the epic Mahabharata.
The Bhagavad Gita is an Integral Part of the Epic Mahabharata where Lord Krishna speaks to his devotee Arjuna just before the onset of war. Their discourse has become one of the greatest philosophical dialogues took place ever.

The Bhagavad Gita's emphasis on selfless service was a prime source of inspiration for Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
