Indeed, reading a book in original version is a great way to lift up your skills in a foreign language. But this usually requires an already pretty high level in that language and can quickly appear overwhelming. Bilingual books solve this problem by bringing instantaneous access to a text meaning and translation. But physical bilingual books are rare and costly. Bilingual Book Reader is the very first app that brings parallel reading for an unlimited collection of books and languages, and for FREE!
********How can I read in 2 languages at the same time? *******
All you need to get started is to have 2 different versions of the same book on your phone (for instance "Alice in Wonderland" in English and "Alice aux pays des merveilles" in French).
- Firstly Bilingual book reader scans your SD card and internal storage for EPUB files. Hence all your EPUB books will appear as thumbnails in the library.
- Select the 2 versions of the book you wish to read.
- The table of content will pop-up of both books will pop-up. If for some reason the number of chapters differ (due to optional chapters such as Introduction, Prolog, Credit, etc.), no worries, extra chapters will be automatically removed (this can also be done manually).
- Enjoy your bilingual book reading by browsing seamlessly through pages or chapters, the 2 versions will be synced automatically.
- Click on any word in the text and its translation will directly be highlighted on the other side. (soon to come: the whole sentence translation will also be highlighted) This magic is brought to you thanks to Bilingual Book Reader's embedded database of 5500 words in 8 languages plus a connection to Yandex Online Translator.

Update Phone Settings

- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
