Need to remember to do something but don't want to take up a bunch of your time to create a full calendar event? Boomerang It may be just what you're looking for.
If you're like me and end up having to use calendars a lot for work and hate them, or just hate them in general, then Boomerang It can help. Simply open the app, write or say(by pressing the microphone button) what you want to be reminded to do, select the date and time using the built in widgets, then press the Boomerang It button.
That's it. When the datetime arrives that you wanted to be reminded of something you will receive a notification on your phone with your reminder and whatever the default notification sound is set on your phone and a notification vibration.
Also, in the event that you no longer need to be notified of something you can view reminders and cancel a reminder by selecting the checkbox next to the reminder on the view reminders page. The application will never delete upcoming or past reminders on it's own. This feature is a safeguard for various reasons.
To ensure the application functions as intended be sure not to turn off notification capabilities of the application from your phone's setting.
