BSRIA is a test, instruments, research and consultancy organisation, providing specialist services in construction and building services. We also take an active role in the built environment through our championing of the Soft Landings approach, supporting Part L of the Building Regulations and our experience of Building Performance Evaluations.
As a non-profit distributing, member-based association, clients can be assured of our independent approach and authoritative reputation. Any profits made are invested in our on-going research programme, producing industry recognised best practice guidance.
BSRIA (owned by The Building Services Research and Information Association) was founded in 1955 and had a turnover of £12 million in 2013-2014. We employ 180 people at our head office in Bracknell (UK), at regionally based construction compliance offices throughout the UK; at offices in China, USA, Germany, France and Spain; and have Associates in Northern Ireland, Japan, Brazil and Australia.

BSRIA is one of the leading independent UK laboratories for testing and performance verification of a wide range of building services products. Our internationally recognised type test reports will help you gain the relevant markings for you products and independently prove their performance.

Instrument Solutions
BSRIA developed its Instrument Solutions division in 1990 to offer a total test and measurement service. We hire, calibrate and sell a comprehensive range of specialist instruments for building services and construction use.
