Burdy is geboren te Groningen op 07-02-1964 als Lebertus Lammert Schaap.
Op 13 jarige leeftijd begint hij plaatjes te draaien met zijn eigen illegale radiostation de Motormuis.
Burdy begint met zingen als hij met zijn eigen piratendiscotheek Jukebox op feesten en party s als diskjockey plaatjes mag draaien.
In 1992 komt de eerste single De vizzers van Zoltkamp uit.
Door het nummer Mit mien ogen dicht krijgt Burdy landelijk bekendheid
Burdy maakt er met zijn eigenzinnige act altijd en overal een geweldig feest van!
Eenmaal op de bühne blijkt Burdy een geboren entertainer en brengt hij zijn publiek muzikaal onder hypnose!
