Il Chest Pain Score permette di valutare se un dolore toracico è riferibile o meno a causa cardiaca. Questa App utilizza per il calcolo le indicazioni della commissione congiunta AMNCO e SIMEU del 2009 (Ottani F, Binetti N, Casagranda I et al, G. Ital Cardiol 2009; 10 (1): 46-63).
Uno score < 4 viene considerato "atipico" cioè con bassa probabilità di essere riferibile ad angina pectoris. Uno score ≥ 4 è invece "tipico" per angina pectoris.
N.B. Questa applicazione è indirizzata a personale sanitario e fornisce un supporto nella fase iniziale della valutazione del paziente con dolore toracico. Non sostituisce il giudizio clinico di un medico e non è sufficiente da sola a porre diagnosi di sospetta cardiopatia acuta.
