ACERCA DEL CICLÓN AZUL:
El Club Deportivo Motagua es un club de fútbol hondureño, con sede en la ciudad de Tegucigalpa. Fue fundado el 29 de agosto de 1928 y juega en la Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras desde que fue creada. Es considerado por la FIFA como uno de los clubes “clásicos” del mundo, siendo junto con Olimpia los únicos clubes hondureños distinguidos con este galardón.
Es uno de los cinco únicos clubes que jamás han descendido a la Liga de Ascenso de Honduras, junto a Olimpia, Marathón, Real España y Vida. Además es considerado como el segundo equipo más laureado e importante entre los «Cuatro Grandes del Fútbol Hondureño».
A lo largo de su historia, Las Águilas Azules han logrado un total de catorce títulos de Liga, una Supercopa y una Copa. En el 2007, el Motagua consiguió el último torneo de clubes de la Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol (UNCAF).
Motagua es además considerado por encuestas como el quinto mejor equipo de fútbol en Centroamérica, por detrás del Saprissa y Alajuelense de Costa Rica, Olimpia de Honduras y Comunicaciones de Guatemala. Históricamente es el segundo equipo más ganador de Honduras y el décimo en Centroamérica.
El Club Deportivo Motagua juega todos sus partidos de local en el Estadio Nacional de Tegucigalpa. Su tradicional rival es el Olimpia, con el que disputa el Clásico del fútbol hondureño y el cual es considerado por la FIFA como “ el derbi más tradicional de Honduras”.

The Club Deportivo Motagua Honduras is a football club based in the city of Tegucigalpa. It was founded on August 29, 1928 and plays in the National Football League Honduras since it was created. It is considered by FIFA as one of the "classic" world, being with the only Honduran club Olimpia honored with this award clubs.
It is one of only five clubs who have never fallen to the Liga de Ascenso of Honduras, near Olympia, Marathon, Spain and Real Life. It is also considered the second most successful and important equipment between the 'big four Honduran soccer. "
Throughout its history, The Blue Eagles have achieved a total of fourteen league titles, one Super Cup and Cup. In 2007, the Motagua won the last tournament of clubs in the Central American Football Union (UNCAF).
Motagua is also considered by surveys as the fifth best football team in Central America, behind Saprissa and Alajuelense of Costa Rica, Olimpia of Honduras and Guatemala Communications. Historically it is the second winningest team and tenth Honduras in Central America.
The Club Deportivo Motagua plays all its home games at the National Stadium in Tegucigalpa. Its traditional rival is Olimpia, with contesting the Honduran Classic football and which is regarded by FIFA as "the most traditional derby of Honduras".
