This app starts CoC at regular intervals and keeps it running for a short time. It keeps your device active and thus protects your village from raids. Ideal for short breaks between attacks. You can also let it run overnight with a charger connected.
The app does not modify or hack CoC's in-app shield. CoC Shield just keeps you permanently online, so no one can attack you. In this way, it acts as a free shield.
