All artwork at Coloursetc is created by Skevi Savvidou, an
artist by profession. Skevi has studied Art & Design at the School of Fine Arts in Hampstead, London.
Skevi's initial work was inspired by old neighbourhoods
especially entrance doors of old houses in her native country Cyprus.
Later, she started creating cartoons on political and social issues for "Politis" newspaper in Cyprus. Her cartoons are still being published in the newspaper on a daily basis. Skevi has been included twice in the World Press Cartoons Catalogue published in Lisbon, Portugal and has gained a prize from the Cyprus Journalists Association for cartoons that she has published in the newspaper. Skevi has expanded the variety of her
artwork with the creation of digital artwork, Byzantine art and mosaic art.
