This is version (V5) of Daakir dikr application with all-new features that never appeared on other in-class applications. You can now count dikr while phone screen is locked or in "dark screen" mode. You can also get notified of dikr values on the screen the same way you used to be notified of a missed call or message. Phone LED alerts you when a preset dikr value is reached, for example target dirk values.

Daakir dikr counting application is designed to help remember Allaah, the creator of the universe, counting dikr while saying or listening and collecting as much virtues as possible. Daakir's all-new features includes;
1) Lock-screen mode. Keep counting dikr even when your phone is fully locked and the screen is completely off (dark screen). Dark screen is normally enabled by double pressing the power button of your phone. This is very useful and a battery saving feature for;
a) The screen, depending on it's settings, usage time, brightness (backlit and color), is the second most power hogging device in the mobile phone accounting for about 35-50% of power consumption. Imagine how much battery power you would consume in counting thousands of dikr while your phone's screen is always on.
b) In Android app design, battery power saving is the highest priority. Daakir application works in the background reducing phone power consumption.
Now imagine peacefully sitting in a calm corner counting and pondering on thousands of easeful dikr, repenting and being graceful to your creator and there is no distractive bright light from your screen.
2) Dikr notification. Daakir notifies you of a dikr values and status. Both the current and target dikr values are shown on the lock screen using notification, the same way you would see a missed call or a message notification on your phone. In todays busy life style, we are in a much need of a dikr notifier than a missed call notification.
3) LED alerts. In addition to the lock screen dikr notification, the LED light on your phone will blink blue to alert you when a preset target value of a dikr is reached and the LED blinks fast in red to notify you of an exceeded target dikr value. Dialog message box is available in UI mode to "RESET" or "CONTINUE" dikr options.
4) There is a voice feature which you can enable and listen to ponder on the Astagfaar, Tahmiid and Tahliil while counting dikr.
5) Daakir also features a dark color UI designed to reduce battery consumption during direct app interaction. The dark screen is part of power saving approach and is also intended to reduce screen brightness in the nighttime.
Other standard features
=> Use volume keys to count dikr (this feature is available only when phone is not locked)
=> Set target dikr value
=> Enable and set vibration intensity to get notified of a reached target dikr when target value is reached
=> You can go fullscreen by hiding system tool bar

1) The authors of Daakir dikr counter application tried their best to develop this application bug free. However, if you experience any issues during use please do not jump on commenting negative or down voting. 2) New update is coming for Android 4.4 users to address compatibility issues. In the mean time please try to update your phone to the latest android version so that you can make use of the all-new Daakir features.
3) Bug fixed for Android 4.4 devices and new features are now supported in version 5.
