배경
국제 기념일들은 국제 현안에 관하여 상기, 인식하고 인지도를 높이기 위하여 국제 단체가 정한 날들입니다. 그러나, 대부분의 사람들이 이런 날들에 관하여 신경을 쓰지 않고, 존재 여부를 모릅니다. LG 모바일은, 저희 스마트폰을 국제 기념일들을 위한 매개체로 활용하기로 결정하였습니다.
아이디어
스마트폰 사용자들은 그들의 폰을 하루에 평균적으로 164.5번 확인합니다. 우리는, 모든 사람들이 폰을 사용 할 때 무의식적으로 status bar를 본다는 사실에 주목하였습니다. 그래서 우리는, 이 간과된 공간을, 사람들에게 국제 기념일에 관하여 알리고 계몽하는 매개체로 활용하였습니다. 우리는, 각각의 국제 기념일을 나타내는 “Daycon”이라 불리는 알림 아이콘을 디자인 하였습니다.
실행
Daycon은 status bar에 표시되고, 사용자들에게 어떠한 국제 기념일 인지를 상기시켜 줍니다. 매일 아침 9시, Daycon은 흥미를 유발시키는 애니메이션과 함께 표시됩니다. Status bar 영역을 아래로 당기면, 사람들은 그날에 대한 더 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있고, 배경화면으로 설정하기 위한 월페이퍼도 다운로드 받을 수 있습니다. 또한, 페이지는 기부와 소셜 미디어 공유를 위한 링크도 포함합니다.
