De Veldrakker is een middelgrote openbare basisschool in de wijk Batau-Noord, waar alle kinderen met ieder hun eigen achtergrond zich thuis voelen.
Ons uitgangspunt is “Klassikaal onderwijs met veel individuele aandacht voor de leerling”.
Dat kunt u onder andere terugzien in de tijd die we besteden aan het aanleren van de basisvaardigheden rekenen en taal en in het aanbieden van instructie op verschillende niveaus.
Op de Veldrakker staan de kinderen centraal. Een open communicatie met kinderen en ouders symboliseert dat. Wij zijn gastvrij en laagdrempelig.
We leiden onze leerlingen op voor de toekomst. Onze kernwaarden hierbij zijn:
