Demorei cinco anos para ter o diagnostico correto, apesar de existir muitas informações na internet sobre a doenças e seus sintomas, mas, nenhuma sobre aonde você ir, onde achar um médico, e foi esta falta de “auxilio” que me motivou a fazer este blog.
O App e o Blog disponibilizam um banco de dados com informações sobre médicos e profissionais da saúde com conhecimento e experiência no tratamento de pessoas com distonia e/ou distúrbios do movimento. Nossa missão é ser um facilitador para você, e desta forma ajudá-lo a encontrar tratamento adequado o mais rápido possível.
Através dessa lista, você vai perceber que os médicos variam em sua experiência e áreas de competência específicas. Entretanto, essa lista não constitui nem implica em uma recomendação ou endosso pelo DS (Distonia Saúde ).

Ao considerar iniciar o tratamento com algum desses profissionais, recomendo que seja feita uma análise sobre o profissional. Informe-se, faça perguntas sobre o médico, se possível com pacientes que já foram e/ou são atendidos pelo profissional escolhido. Busque informação também junto ao CRM - Conselho Regional de Medicina do seu estado.
O “Guia Médico Distonia Saúde” disponibilizado pelo blog será só de médicos que tratam de distúrbio dos movimentos. Todas as informações são autorizadas pelo próprio médico: nome; número do CRM; telefone para contato; possibilidade de atendimento por convênio.
Enfim, o intuito do DS é promover e viabilizar a comunicação entre médicos e pacientes, é contribuir para aumentar a confiança nessa relação, com base na informação.
