Nowadays of course dollhouses are much more sophisticated. My favorite doll house is the Fisher Price dream dolls house. It is beautiful with nine rooms, including one secret room at the top of the house. It really is a dream house too, complete with a solarium!
The house comes with a little family and each room can have furniture added to it to make it even more realistic. The set does come with a little furniture but more can be purchased later.
Dolls houses with lights are pretty much normal these days, but this house not only has lights but also a huge range of sounds too. There is a doorbell which really rings, and there is a special
button which plays a flushing sound on the toilet. How's that for realism! There are also a wide range of sounds that play including some music, so children will be entertained for hours.
I am pleased to say that Fisher Price have not restricted their dolls for the doll house to white American families, there are African-American dolls available too. There can families made up from
all different sorts of relatives, to reflect the way families are nowadays. Extra Moms, Dads, Grandparents and brothers and sisters are available so you can have your family reflected in this lovely
toy.
Fisher Price have not forgotten parents too. The dollhouse is solidly made, however, not being wooden it is relatively lightweight, so perfect for taking in the car to visit relatives. Also, all the
accessories fit inside the house so it is fast and easy to clear up and have the doll house neatly packed away.
Overall I think this is a beautiful gift and one that any little girl would treasure. It is one that will last a long time, and will be brought out to play with again and again. If you want to give a
gift that will put a smile on the face of your little one, having them remember you each time they get it out to play with then this is the gift to go for.
