This app is basically a tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former president of India. The idea behind the formation of this app is to glorify his thoughts to the young generation of India. His work and life itself is a great inspiration to entire nation.
One of the key feature of this app is the use of quotations of Dr. kalam as the widget which changes daily. Developers has used only black and white colour motivated from the simple life of Dr. APJ Kalam.
The app provides you all the information about his journey of life and work. Although, he belonged to lower middle class family but despite of that he became the well-known scientist of India and provided first missile to the nation. Dr. Kalam made significant contribution as Project Director to develop India's first indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III) which successfully injected the Rohini satellite in the near earth orbit in July 1980 and made India an exclusive member of Space Club.
On 30 July 2015, the former President was laid to rest at Rameswaram's Pei Karumbu Ground with full state honours. Over 100,000 people attended the last rites.
