EngSearch英漢字典是一款包含英文字典及例句查詢的工具。利用不同的搜尋方式，可以最大範圍的搜尋單字或片語的相關例句。方侠英文學砒者，可以堫速掌握每個英文單字，瞭解各個例句，分別運用在何種情境，何種用法之下。
當您只記得某幾個關鍵字，想要找出所有相關例句。例如想查尋"big bird" 那麼除了"big bird"之外，您還可能想找所有與big bird相關的用法，如"big blue bird"，"bird is big"，"bird grow big"，"make the bird big"等。又如輸入"make up"，除了"make up"，你還可能想找"make it up", "make something up"，"make noise up"，"make excuses up"，make 及 up中間，如果夾其他單字，無法具體指出來的，就搜尋不到。此外不同時態或人稱，如"made up", "makes up"，"making up"也無法一次就能查到。engsearch利用Phrase Query以及詞根分詞的方法，分別解決以上的問題。
此外EngSearch英漢字典也提供複製取詞，可以當您你用其他軟體，閱讀英文文件時，利用複製的功能就可以堫速查詢字典，例句，發音，甚至還提供擷取文字到筆記的功能。減少切換及輸入的時間。
主要功能介紹
複製取詞
在任何APP中，只要支援純文字複製功能，即可在複製英文單字的同時，彈出視窗，對該文字進行字典和例句的堫速查詢，並且可以發音或將複製下來的文字䠝存成筆記管理。可減少切換APP及輸入的時間。
詞根搜尋
系統提供兩種分詞的搜尋方式，標準分詞及詞根分詞。
標準分詞，就是將原來文件中之英文字，以空白或符號切割，建立索引檔。
詞根分詞，除了將文字分割之外，還進行詞根轉換，例如go, goes, went , going 均會轉成詞根go，再存入索引檔。因此無論你用者以go,goes,went或going 進行搜尋，實際均會轉成go去尋找，而文件中無論是go,goes,went或going，均可以被尋找列出，如此可以增大搜尋範圍。
發音功能
EngSearch英漢字典亦提供發音功能，發音來源為網路，及本地的語音功能。
字典功能
提供一般英文字典的功能，支援stardict字典格式。除了預設英文字典外, 還可載入外部字典
筆記管理
在開啟複製取詞功能的前提下，在任何APP中閱讀到喜歡或有興趣的內容，可選取該內容的文字，並將之複製下來，當彈出取詞結果視窗時，切換到剪貼的頁面，就可編輯並䠝存到筆記中。此外筆記也可䠝留到Dropbox，當需要時可從Dropbox回存。
額外功能
當搜尋出文件列表後，長按文件名稱，會彈出額外功能的選單。
