Das elektronische Polleninformationsnetzwerk (ePIN) besteht aus acht elektronischen Pollenmonitoren in acht Landkreisen in Bayern (Altötting, Feucht, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Hof, Marktheidenfeld, Mindelheim, München, Viechtach). Durch dieses Netzwerk ist eine Echtzeit-Pollenflugvorhersage möglich. Damit können Allergiker ihre Medikamenteneinnahme und Exposition gegenüber Pollen gezielt steuern.
In der App sind folgende Inhalte bereitgestellt:
- aktueller Pollenflug der wichtigsten allergieauslösenden Pflanzen im 3-Stunden-Intervall an den acht Standorten
- Überblick über den Pollenflug vergangener Tage an den acht Standorten
