The FakeNOTe App is a FREE app that allows you to check whether your currency is authentic or a counterfeit. As we’re adjusting to the recent demonetization in India, the number of fake notes being circulated are on the rise. People are still unfamiliar with the new notes and fail to recognize a fake. This easy-to-use App aims to empower the common man with the knowledge to recognize fake currency right away.
HOW THE APP WORKS
It uses your mobile device’s flashlight to highlight security measures and watermarks on the note.
The app guides you on how to check for disparities using helpful videos and then turns on your flashlight and lets you check for yourself.
Once you’re done, the app turns off your flashlight and engages with you.
Based on your findings, the app will predict whether the note is fake or real.
The app lets you replay the videos if you were unable to spot anything.
