Version 2.3 updated.
Description [menu]
Flash Assistant helps you determine the correct flash-to-subject distance, aperture, ISO, or flash power when using a manual flash unit. Flash Assistant is simple to use. For example, to determine the proper flash-to-subject distance for a given ISO, power, and aperture, simply select the distance radio-button and dial-in the desired ISO, power, and aperture. The correct distance (to the nearest foot) will be displayed in the distance column. Flash Assistant can compute ISO, power, and aperture similarly.
You need to know the guide number (GN) of your flash unit (a measure of light output). Just visit http://dpanswers.com/roztr/flash_finder.php to look up the GN of your flash.
The user interface is very simple and effective making it easy to use in the field.
