It is the festival celebrated in honour of the god Ganesh.The festival is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi. The festival lasts for 10 to 12 days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi.
This festival start with very important movement that is, Ganesh Sthapana Puja or also known as Ganesh Pranpratishtha.
It is observed that, due to the less numbers of Pujari/Guruji, many people may not able to do Sthapana Puja.
