GIS Hubdat membantu warga dalam melaksanakan mudik untuk memudahkan mencari jalur alternatif dan tempat-tempat terdekat seperti restoran, masjid, bahan bakar, perbaikan mobil, dll. GIS Hubdat juga menyediakan peta offline dan status arus lalu lintas di tempat-tempat yang dipilih dengan CCTV berdasar pada situs RTTMC.
Aplikasi GIS Hubdat ini dibangun untuk Direktorat Jendral Perhubungan Darat. Direktorat Lalu Lintas Dan Angkutan Jalan. Kementrian Perhubungan Republik Indonesia.
Aplikasi ini dapat digunakan pada platform android versi 3.0 dan versi lebih baru.
Pengembangan aplikasi didukung oleh Ramtec dan Telkom University
