GoTilapia discusses:
1. Start a tilapia business.
This chapter discusses how to start a business, get to know several types of Tilapia, choose a location, get to know and understand markets, know about culture technology, business management, pest and disease control.
2. Egg production in fish.
This chapter provides an explanation of how fish produce eggs.
3. Larval production
This chapter discusses the procurement of broodstock, preparing spawning containers, preparing broodstock for spawning, an explanation of stocking densities, behavior of tilapia at spawning, feed and water management, larval harvesting. All based on the experience of the author.
4. Biofloc technology in Tilapia culture
This chapter explores biofloc technology in tilapia culture, about research, requirements in culture, concepts and applications of Adi Sucipto's thinking, microorganisms in biofloc, materials used in the application of biofloc technology and why using these materials, mechanism of ammonia-N utilization, carbon sources and their application, media preparation, control during culture, microorganisms in biofloc, and many other things that will benefit you while applying biofloc technology to tilapia.
