Doze / Hibernate My Apps Disables (ShutApp) Power Consuming Apps in Background. Doze completely stops the background execution of apps when the phone's screen is turned OFF. The Apps won't execute in background when your phone is in standby mode.
Many android apps have one or multiple services. They run in background & usually performs some kind of tasks. For example: Facebook runs a service to check likes and comments on your post. Its useful but is drains your battery and uses CPU computing power. Facebook alone has approximately 300 services. Also poorly programmed apps may have one service which is more battery draining than 300 services from professionally programmed app.
Many people think that when they kill an app, it completely stops draining the battery & computing power. Killing the app does not kill its background services & apps auto restarts.
Doze or Hibernate is the state of inactivity in which our algorithms forces power consuming Apps to sleep deeply by stopping background services. This works when you turn OFF the device screen.
