The pattern of a young child's hand is one of my favorite paper flower crafts.
1. Trace the child's hand on to a piece of cardboard.
2. Cut the tracing if their hand from the paper.
3. Use a pencil to curl the fingers.
4. Use the palm of the hand and make a cone (fingers should point outward).
5. Glue the paper flower hand on a straw or similar object.
6. Cut some leaf shapes out of the green paper and glue them along the sides of your straw. Do all the steps as many times as you want to create a flower bouquet.
This is a very fun and very inexpensive hobby that anybody at any age can do. A relaxing and habit forming way that people can express their artistic creativity to their friends, and possibly meet new people is with making paper flower crafts.
Creating artificial or paper flowers is an old and fascinating hobby. Our great grandmothers and their mothers made them from scraps of cloth and other materials.
